Sourdough Bread Proofing Quartet Set, 10 inch Round Banneton Basket, Bread Lame, Dough Scraper, Bristle Brush

We created another edition to our Proofing Set Collection. We made our beautiful Bread Lame with gold trim part of a team to make your bread baking a breeze and a joyful experience.

The Set includes a 10" Round 100% Natural Rattan Banneton Basket; which is odor free and with a splinter-free finish, a Linen Liner, a 7” beautiful Bread Lame plus 5 sharp blades, a 6” x 4” Dough Scraper and a 2” Bristle Brush to keep your basket clean.

The Banneton Basket is 100% natural rattan and handmade. Use it for the final proof of the dough. It holds its shape as it rises and prevents uneven spread. It includes a Linen Liner. Avoid getting the basket wet and store it in an open dry space. The linen liner is hand wash only with cold water.

The Bread Lame has stainless steel blades and a wooden handle with gold trim. Use it to score your dough right before it’s placed in the oven. It will control the shape and direction in which your bread springs. It includes five sharp blades.

The Dough Scraper cuts, divides portions and scoops up the dough from the work
surface to a bowl or your basket. It’s also a great tool to clean up surfaces. The stainless steel is dull and durable but it’s best to hand wash it to keep it in perfect condition.

The Bristle Brush is the tool you’ll use last to clean up your banneton basket. After tapping the back of your basket to release the excess flour, take the brush and in gently round motions dust off the remaining flour. Avoid doing it too hard as the natural rattan can get damaged.
