Our Story Began with Bread

La Couplet was born during the pandemic, when my husband and I discovered a deep love for baking sourdough bread. 

What started as a simple passion quickly grew into something more. We wanted to be part of a community that celebrates creating for the home—through cooking, baking, and sharing. So, we took the leap and opened our shop, designing beautiful tools inspired by our own baking journey.

At the heart of it all is sourdough. We’re excited to share our very first (and still our favorite) sourdough recipe with fellow home bakers, and to keep that spirit going by building a space where we can all learn, create, and grow together.

We bake sourdough every week and love passing along what we’ve learned—along with the tools that make the process more joyful and rewarding. While we’re a small business, we have big dreams: to build a brand that brings a little bit of joy into everyday life.
